Scalene Stretch
Picture on the left: reach across your body with your arm and squeeze your scalene muscle (x) between your fingers and the heel of your hand (arrows).
Picture on the right:
Maintaining the squeeze on your scalene muscle (x) sit on your other hand (down arrow).
Tilt your ear down to your shoulder (arrow a).
Turn your head away slightly from the muscle you are squeezing (arrow b) until you feel a gentle stretch.
